Amazon has started hiring employees for its Nigerian branch which is expected to be launched next year.
Putting out various openings on LinkedIn, the U.S. e-commerce giant posted vacancies for account managers, start-up segment leader, senior partners, sales managers, and others.
The American company had earlier announced that it would begin operations in Nigeria in 2023 as part of its plans for expansion into five more countries across Africa, the Americas, and Europe.
Amazon also said it would grant all five countries access to Amazon’s fulfilment service called Fulfillment by Amazon.
Currently operating in 20 countries, the expansion will see the market start operations in South Africa, Nigeria, Colombia, Chile, and Belgium by April 2023.
