The Chairman of Akwa United Football Club, Elder Paul Bassey has kicked against the commencement date of the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League Season slated for 17th of December 2021, decrying congestion of match fixtures.
The new date was fixed during a meeting of the League Management Company and the Club Owners held on Tuesday in Abuja.
Elder Bassey made this known while speaking with ABN Sports Correspondents Nsisong Emmanuel.
