The State Executive Committee (SEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Akwa Ibom State Chapter has been inaugurated.
According to a statement signed by the APC State Publicity Secretary, Akwa Ibom State, Solomon Johnny, the inauguration took place on Friday, 4th February 2022 at State Secretariat of the Party, 149 Ikot Ekpene Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State Capital.
Inaugurating the State Executive Officers, the new State Chairman, Mr Austin Ekanem said the inauguration was a call to duty to mobilise Akwa Ibom public towards achieving the focus of the Party which he said is defeating the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in 2023 and forming an APC led State Government in Akwa Ibom State to bring about positive change to the citizens.
Mr. Ekanem who was inaugurated as State Chairman on Thursday, 3rd February 2022 in Abuja at the National Headquarters of the Party, said he will work towards bringing various groups within the party together and charged the new members of sec to close ranks and work hard at marketing the vision and programs of APC to Akwa Ibomites to bring more support to the party.
While thanking Stakeholders for supporting the Party, Ekanem promised to work to unite all interest groups in the party and give every party member a sense of belonging in the emerging new government.
