AFCON 2021: SUPER EAGLES DEFENDER TIPS TEAM FOR A WIN AGAINST GUINEA – BISSAU CLASH.

Date:

Super Eagles Player, William Troost-Ekong has insisted that the Super Eagles will go all out for a win in their final group game against Guinea-Bissau despite having nothing to play for.

The Super Eagles have already qualified for the second round having recorded wins in their opening two games Egypt and Sudan.

Troost-Ekong is adamant they will fight hard to secure maximum points.

The Super Eagles were widely criticised in the build up to the competition following their poor performance in recent outings, but have surprised many with their impressive showing in Cameroon

Meanwhile, Austine Eguavoen says converting scoring chances is still a major concern for the Super Eagles at the 2021 AFCON.

So far the eagles have scored four goals in their opening two games at the tournament.

They defeated Egypt 1-0 thanks to a Kelechi Iheanacho stunner and netted three times against Sudan in their second group D game.

But speaking in his pre-match presser ahead of Wednesday’s Final Group Game with Guinea-Bissau, Eguavoen disclosed that it is one of the weaknesses in his team but however expressed hope that there will be an improvement against Guinea-Bissau.
