The 2023 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) season is set to kick off on April 22, 2023, in Kebbi State.
This was confirmed in a circular signed by the Nigeria Beach Soccer League Coordinator who doubled as the President of the African Beach Soccer Union, Mahmud Hadejia to all state Beach soccer association secretaries, State Football Association Secretaries, and all male Beach soccer clubs.
The commencement will be after the completion of club licensing and registration which started on March 30 and will close on April 10 as a virtual club licensing and coaching is also expected to commence on April 12, 2023, before the season opener in Kebbi.
The 2023 Nigeria Beach Soccer League is the third edition after its maiden edition in 2021.
Kebbi Fishers won the made edition in 2021 while Kada Beach Soccer Club clinched the 2022 league title.
