All is set for the 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Nigeria National League (NNL), the second-highest tier in Nigerian football, scheduled for Saturday, September 28, 2024, in Bauchi, the capital of Bauchi State.
A total of 36 clubs will be represented at the AGM, including eight newly promoted teams from the Nationwide League One (NLO) and three clubs relegated from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Some of the newly promoted clubs include Kun-Khalifa FC (Owerri), Ijele FC (Enugu), Basira FC (Lafia), JRN Danburan FC (Katsina), Barau FC (Kano), First Bank FC (Lagos), Godswill Akpabio United FC, and Ibajo FC (Osun State).
Key agenda items for the AGM include reviewing and adopting the new framework for the 2024/2025 season, agreeing on the season’s format, and setting a kickoff date for the league.
The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed, is expected to officially declare the AGM open.
